Five stages

Process

Five stages from brief to handover, each with a named owner and a defined output — which is how mid-project changes and disputes are avoided.

  1. 01

    Brief

Prepare the discipline, district, existing conditions and preferred timing for an initial assessment.

    Output: brief summary

  2. 02

    Call and site survey

Confirm scope by phone, then measure and inspect site conditions and constraints.

    Output: survey notes and options

  3. 03

    Formal quotation

Itemised materials, sequence, programme and payment terms — not one opaque lump sum.

    Output: itemised quotation

  4. 04

    Construction

Agree dates, work hours and protection; record progress by stage.

    Output: staged progress records

  5. 05

    Inspection and handover

Check item by item, list outstanding defects with dates, and hand over care notes.

Output: acceptance list and handover record

What you receive at each stage
